How about a tax credit for health insurance premiums?
I don't want him to find or make jobs for black kids. Nor do I want him to find or make jobs for Hispanic kids. Nor do I want him to find or make jobs for white kids. I want him to get the government the hell out of the way and let the jobs come where they may. I also want him to stop tampering with what businesses must pay their employees. Every time they raise the minimum wage, that just causes employers to hire fewer employees.
And what happens to all these 'needing government assistance' types when the government comes crashing down under its own unsustainable weight? I hope they have just as good of an exit strategy as was their entry.

What this fool seems oblivious to is the fact that Supreme Court decisions on laws should be made only on the constitutionality of the law, not whether a decision hands political advantage to EITHER side.

Term limits fixes this. If there is no 'political career' to be maintained, there is no need to vote foolishly on legislation that is unconstitutional or financially unsustainable. One term, then out.

Since when did we start interviewing, quoting and valuing the opinions of Congressional aides? Who gives a damn what they think? Get the Congressmen themselves to answer questions on this. THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE PAID FOR, not pawning it off to some donut boy/girl.

Exactly. "Can't be dismantled" is a load of BS. ANYTHING can be dismantled, and should be, if it's as poorly conceived and executed as o'bozocare.

In the long run, it would cost hundreds of billions less to just put the 40 million who didn't have insurance on Medicaid. That's where they're going anyway, along with millions of others who used to be able to afford their own insurance.

In response to the comment by jungbae, this country collects $2 Trillion in taxes now. It doesn't need any more. If the Federal Government can't be run on $2 Trillion per year, it is TOO DAMN BIG. Do you seriously think the Federal Government needs to spend MORE than $6500 for every man, woman, and child in this country?

DiMatteo's thinking (Republicans should become more like Democrats) is what got us 16 years of Klinton and Obozo. There is no reason to vote for an imitation Democrat when there is a real one on the ballot.
