Ugly: Liberals Turn to Dirty Tricks, Violence as Election Approaches

Not to mention shots fired into an Obama campaign office, Obama signs stolen or cut up and another Obama office defaced with swastikas. The sad part is that we, all of us, are causing this. Go anywhere on the internet and even websites that have nothing to do with politics becomes toxic with people calling each other names. I have figured out that by now, every single person in America is a moron. Come here and call the liberals names, go to Daily Kos and call conservatives names. And all of us seem to think those who haven't decided or don't care are morons too. If American goes under, We are the barbarians who defeated the empire.

I completely agree with this. We spend to much time trying to build ourselves up by cutting those who disagree down - as though difference is a marker of stupidity or derangement. It's a shame that we cannot work together toward the things that we all value: Home, health, family, life, nation.

So do we kitty.

But we believe in (stable) homes, (traditional) family, (private) healthcare, (respect for) life and (one) nation (under God)

Nana, you're already putting conditions on that list. That's misses the entire point. We will be the end of us. What is stable for some is not for others. What is traditional for some is not for others. Some are monotheistic and others are pantheistic. If we are to survive we have to accept variability, nuance and difference.

Nana, please realize that 'pursuit of happiness' and 'all men created equal' means just that - ALL people. Not just conservative Christians.

The founders never put "Under God" in the pledge OR on our money - that was added in the 1950's.

"If we are to survive we have to accept variability, nuance and difference."

You mean the way liberals accept differences of opinion, Kittens?

No they did not, but all of them believed in God!

Well not all do, but I try to. I don't think you should think the same as me.

I like a lot of what conservatives have to offer, but I don't agree on every point. It does not mean that I think less of them, it does however make me want to understand them more. Not that they're wrong, I think our differences can make us a stronger nation.

Obama/Davis Soetoro had his own places and sign vandalized.
So as to say look they do it too.
These are the ways of communists,
Why do you think you see less bumper stickers for reps than dems?
The dems vandalize cars w/ R's stickers.

Cast your mind back to the rise of the Tea Party, when any liberal within shouting distance of a microphone conspicuously opined about the very worrisome violent undertones of the movement.  After Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot by an apolitical madman, the Left instantly blamed conservative speech and delivered bad-faith lectures about the importance of "civility."  And as Republicans (and some Democrats) have pushed common-sense voter identification laws to ensure the integrity of our electoral system, so-called progressives have furiously denounced their opponents' alleged "voter suppression" efforts.  With all of that in mind, how are some liberals behaving...
