They didn't misread the will of the majority.
They know full well that the majority wants no part of this nightmare. Their quest for power and control over the citizenry is their heroin.
All rational regard for the will of the population is blinded by their addiction.
The pessimist in me is dreading dark days ahead for all of us. How will I get to sleep tonight....that face...that gloating bizarre crooked face of the house speaker as all her psychopath partners (including Charlie Rangel)put her on a pedestal. It's going to be a long night into the darkness ahead.

Dr. Sowell would've liked my dad..who passed away shortly before 9/11. He was a true patriot...a WW2 veteran and a proud family man. This president ( I can't even bring myself to utter his name) has been delivering systematic body blows to the midsection of the American psyche almost on a daily basis. I have reached the conclusion that my dad would be more horrified by this president and his administration than he would've been by the events of 9/11. My reasoning for concluding this is because on 9/11 we were attacked by a foreign entity from outside our borders who managed to infiltrate and attack. Here and now, we are being attacked (or "dismantled") as Dr Sowell states by a hostile entity (enemy) from within...our own government. I...

I still can't help but feel that there is only a tiny percentage of our population paying attention to this administration...and the freightening world around us. Families are going about their lives...chasing leisurely activities on weekends. Workers are going about their work....looking forward to the next sporting event. When I read someone as brave (on many levels) as Dr. Sowell, I'm wishing that some of my friends or relatives are also reading it...and seeing the light. The same wishful thinking occurs when a talk radio host makes the current cancer in the white house so evident...it dawns on me again that nobody is listening except for a small slice of our numbed society. Can somebody help me crawl out of my pessimistic frame of mind?

Fox News Is Biased? So What?

No doubt that Fox news speaks for those of us who are conservative. Dishonesty is rampant everywhere in the media, even on Fox news with Bill O'reilly who has recently changed course in an attempt to align himself with various heavy-hitters on the left. It is so easy to see right through him as he uses his truly conservative guests to get HIS point across while leaving the door open for that "big interview" which he craves more than his own conservative ideals.

Does Obama 'Get' the Terror War?

This president will systematically weaken this nation even after the majority of Americans have awakened from their slumber. He will not acknowledge or take any measure to deter the world wide movement by Islamic extremists to destroy us. His utter contempt for this country and its history has become obvious.
I wish with all of my heart that I was wrong about this. I also wish with all of my heart that others like me who voted for him could face up to the grave mistake we made.

History Is Calling -- Will Obama Answer?

I can't go out in public anymore and have a good time. I cannot stand looking at American
people anymore just going about their carefree lives yukking it up.. basking in their indifference to world events. I reluctantly agreed to go out to a restaurant last Saturday night....what was on my mind was not the menu...or the quality of the service, or the wine list. It was the fact that at that very moment late on a Saturday night ...the Democratic members of congress were working
behind closed doors to push this health care debacle through the House of Representatives.
Looking around at all the patrons of the restaurant...less than 48 hours since the jihadist attack on our largest domestic military base.. so consumed with...

Fox Fever -- The Latest Pandemic

Yes Fox news has a bias..they're guilty of not being in step with the Whitehouse. They refuse to overlook important stories that might might serve to dim the halo over our presidents head. They played a part in exposing the worse aspects of ACORN and their rather burly friends over at the SEIU.
The activities of these two arms of the Obama machine have been temporarily neutered because the spotlight on them is still glaring.
Some may wonder how Tuesday night might have turned out for VA. and NJ.had these two entities been "at full strength" to do what they do best with elections.
I welcome the bad blood between the Whitehouse and FOX news because it arouses curiousity in people who previously weren't paying...

Every day I wake up hoping to see more opposition, more awareness, and more peaceful gatherings in protest of this freightening presidency. Kudos to John Voight risking future work in Hollywood, he will participate in a D.C. rally this Thursday on the steps of Congress. Kudos to Dr. Thomas Sowell, and Ken Blackwell for their responsible approach towards showing their opposition.
....but Tea Party, please be careful when throwing quotes out there attributed to the president or anyone else before you've done your homework. After doing some homework myself...it's highly unlikely that Obama ever made those comments about our veterans.
Throwing quotes like that around only serves to embolden the left wing and diminish our chances of...
