Romney kept talking about Self Deportation. What the hell is that? Does anyone really believe that 14 million people who came here illegally are just going to pack up and swim back across the Rio Grande because we elect a Republican President? This is insane and isn't going to happen. These people are here to stay so we might as well figure out the best way to deal with it. We must seal the border and prevent the flow of more illegals but we have to deal with the ones who are already here.

If we yank their government benefits, believe it, a lot would go back. They came here largely becuase of the free stuff. They'll return home if we deny them the free stuff.

Why are they here?
Why did they leave their own country?
Many other foreigners were stopped at the Mexican borders. If you can make it to the US, you never have to worry about anything ever again! Less crime, no wars, food, clothes, meds, education, furniture, heat, guns--it's endless.
Why not the rest of the family!

Look at the data on self-deportation. When Arizona passed laws making it more difficult to thrive without documents, I saw that the highway south had many trucks piled high with furniture as people went home to Mexico. The statistics support that observation. As long as the pay is better for being in the USA illegally than for going home, Mexican citizens will stay; when that pay stops, they tend to go home or follow the money to California or some other sanctuary.

Where did you see that in any post I've made?

Latinos don't just care about how many family members they can bring here but they do care about the security and welfare of the ones who are already here. When your party platform appears to attack them and your best suggest is "To Self Deport" as Romney said so many times, you are going to lose. And he did.

so you think that "latins' inly care about how many family member they can bring here?

if that is the case, better that the United States fall.

Although Mitt Romney took flak for his statement that he lost the election because President Obama bestowed “gifts” on key parts of the electorate, what he said is basically true.

We’re stuck in a deadly spiral where economic growth is retarded because the economy is larded with enormous and ever-increasing government spending and debt. Yet, more and more Americans want the lard.

President Obama got re-elected by promising to continue to serve it up.

Romney’s failure, and the failure of the Republican Party, is not that Obama is pulling this off, but that they can’t get their act together to explain...
