The CEO of the Red Cross is paid a half million per year plus expenses and a rather lavish benefits package. There are another 22 people in Management who are paid between $100K per year and $250K annually. One the other hand the President of the Salvation Army is paid $99K per year as a comparison. There is no doubt that the Red Cross does a lot of good but don't kid yourself. A lot of what is donated to the Red Cross goes to it's employees and not the victims of disasters.
