More than 60,000 times per month guns are used in the United States for personal protection or to prevent crimes. More than 33,000 people are killed every year in automobile accidents yet we would never consider banning automobiles. Just over 12,000 homocides are commited with the use of a gun in the US each year, approximately one third that of vehicle related deaths. 40% of homicides are committed with the use of something other than a firearm. Guns aren't the problem. Criminals and irresponsible people are the problem.

Coveyrise, I have found in my study of the liberal mind that liberals' feelings are in direct conflict with facts. Therefore,presenting facts to them is tantamount to climbing the greased pole.

Since NBC sportscaster Bob Costas went on his halftime anti-gun rant on Sunday using words written by Fox Sports Columnist Jason Whitlock, we’ve heard a lot from the media and from uniformed commentators about America’s “gun culture.” The fact is, America actually has two gun cultures and it is important to distinguish them from one another.
