Do these people who are so eager to turn in their guns think it will prevent future tragedies like Sandy Hook? Do they assume that they will wake up one morning and have an uncontrollable urge to go shoot first graders? If so then by all means they do need to give up their guns. I suspect however that future tragedies like Sandy Hook will be prevented when someone else with a gun is their to stop these crazies like Adam Lanza before they get started.

It is, perhaps, the ultimate “do as I say, not as I do” scenario: progressive entertainment stars and politicians telling us that we shouldn’t possess firearms.

So now would be a good time for American progressives to rise up and do for their icons, as their icons seek to do for us: it’s time for an entire movement of celebrity gun buy-back events.
