Does anybody smell something fishy here? The FBI had been investigating Paula Broadwell's access to Petraeus' email account for sometime and knew he was having an affair with her. They also knew that she was sending emails to another woman who she thought was either having an affair with Petraeus or about to and she was pissssed about it. Broadwell is a Lt. Col., married and has two kids of her own. Now after several months of the FBI knowing about this it is suddenly a surprise and requires an immediate resignation from Petraeus. Not before the election but immediately after and before he testifies before Congress. Yeah right.

With the Director of the CIA, General David Petraeus, stepping down yesterday after admitting to an extra-marital affair, it is time for the Obama administration to look for a new director. What we know for sure, is that whoever the President chooses to take this post must be prepared to come into the office amid a scandal on Capitol Hill over the Benghazi attacks in September.

It is possible that President Obama could go with someone who has no CIA experience, like he did with Leon Panetta. But here is a list of possible picks for Obama to look at.
