The Van Jones Matter

And he is scary for a lot of reasons. While we end up in the same place in our distrust of him, Mr. Krauthammer, we didn't get there on the same road. But the biggest thing about him that scares me is that he got into the white House at all and that even todaym, the main stream media isn't even looking at him or the hows & whys of his appointment. He had an $8Billon dollar budget...that's my tax money!!!...and still, he didn't even create a ripple in the main media. That scares me.

Listening to a Liar: Part II

Tell me please how loud you yelled at your Democrat Harry Reid for yelling out at Bush in the same situation and calling him a 'loser and a liar". Not even a mention of it in mainstream and to this day no apology. Get over it...the man has apologized to Obama and obama has accepted it. And before calling attention to Bush's 8-year budget deficit, better take a good look at obama's 8-month deficit! See how easy it is to get things "out there" all distorted. Doesn't help us ever try to get on the same page....does it.
The problem is, and you missed it, parents didn't know what was in the speech. Parents do not trust their children to Obama. The fact that the speech had to be released early shows how much concern parents had (and that is a good thing!). I resent that you characterized concerned parents as "running in circles flailing arms overhead while screaming and shouting". When I want to know what is being presented to my kids...that is not, my deal Neal, running in circles. You owe parents a huge apology for such a broad brush stroke. I think the bigger point you should be asking is WHY so many parents are so distrusting of this President. Could it be the Van Jones, Reverend Wrights, etc. that he continues to have around him? Look at the...

Abortion Is Not Health Care

I actually had someone debate with me trying to tell me that this practice wouldn't ever be used and that Democrats wouldn't support it - talk about putting your head in the sand! When I showed her documentation, she called it explotation by right winged idiots and hasn't talked to me since. It is easier to ignore me than to accept the reality of partial birth abortions. Why isn't this publicized on the media? maybe enough people would be outraged and we could finally put a stop to it.
I was an activist back then and I thought it was a good thing we were doing. Women were dying trying to abort babies because there was no birth control available. They were starving and haveing 8-10 babies they couldn't feed. But now we have birth control and sadly, abortions are used as one of them. i met one young woman that had eight abortions and then wanted to sue someone becuase she couldn't have a 'real' baby anymore (she had 4 by 3 different fathers already). This is NOT what I advocated for. This is way too sad to be right. If we are to keep abortions legal, and now I have my doubts, we need to seriously moderate the when and whys of them. It can't be painted with so broad a brust any longer.

Mistrusting the Media

Please explain how you view the difference (your quote: "It's really shocking. They also continue to use the words "Government Health Care" rather than Public Option. They are two very different things.") - maybe I'm missing something. help me see your perspective.

The media is shameless. Who will miss charlie gibson as he retires....and why, because no one watches! The media is only a propaganda machine and I'm irked even more to know my tax dollars to support public radio/tv to support that bias even more.

Obamacare for Illegal Aliens

Illegals are breaking the law...period. We either honor the rule of law or we don't and it has been apparent that for some reason, illegals bring out the 'ignore' in politicians. You have to ask yourselves why and the only answer is elections...illegals vote and use resources that justify gov't dole, etc. It needs to stop. I don't want to spend a single cent taking care of any illegals after all this time. They need to process legally and if that process is broken, then get it fixed - the solution is NOT to ignore the law and just let them all in!
I do not support despots and do not appreciate obama apologizing for me or my country. I hate that he uses "I" like it is him against us...he is my representative whether I voted for him or not (not!) and he is acting like he is ashamed of this country by siding with criminals across the globe. It was NOT a coup in Honduras and I, for one, am NOT happy that Obama has put me on the wrong side of this issue...again. He is not naive, he is uneducated. Realize that Obama as a senator voted aGAINST EVERY SINGLE HEALTH REFORM BILL that came to the floor...every one because his only ONLY answer is that government ('his' government) needs to control it. God, I'm so angry i can't even type!

Never-Ending Katrina Bias

I personally helped raise over $8000 for aid to katrina 'victums' - no one has ever said thank you, but several asked for more. It is an entitlement thinking that keeps them oppressed. Who, in their right mind, would continue to live in flood paoins? I would love to ask the reporter (and boy do I use that term carefully) why is it that they haven't begun to help themselves - why is it always on my back? Enough. No more. count me as someone who NO LONGER CARES!!!!
