My family of aunts, uncles, and cousins gets together each Thanksgiving. Our family is split with about 60% being liberals and 40% conservatives. It dawned on me last year that the conservative side of the family always hosts the dinner, does all of the cooking, and after the meal does all of the clean up. The liberal side shows up, eats, and then sits around while we do all of the work. Pretty much a microcosm of American society in general. The conservatives do all of the work, and the liberals enjoy all of the benefits.

As Americans everywhere bow their heads in thanks today, the Townhall team wants to take the chance to do the same -- starting with you, our readers!
