Don't you see that Iraq had nothing to do with our safety? Iraq didn't attack us. It wasn't a threat to attack us. If we had left Iraq alone, none of us would have been any less safe.

But because we have attacked Iraq, we are all less safe. Before Iraq, al-Qaeda was a tiny and beaten band of ragheads. Now they number in the thousands. And that is a result of our attacking Iraq.
