Europe is the dying continent. The reformation has not killed Europe. The Reformation was a good work. It freed the people of Europe from the grasp of the political organization called the Roman Catholic Church. (The RCC has always been more about politics and power than the religion of Christ.) It has freed people to actually worship our Savior instead of merely going through meaningless rituals.
"The Faith is Europe. And Europe is the Faith," wrote Hilaire Belloc after that bloodbath we call World War I. "Either Europe will return to the Faith or she will perish."

By 1938, Belloc concluded Christian Europe was done:
