In response to:

Does Mitt Romney Really Understand That Florida Is up for Grabs?

Romney may carry Florida.I*t is leaning GOP. That is what the intrade predictions say and they are known to be more accurate than polls. But they also say that Obama will win the presidency. He has the electoral votes sewn up. If he also wins Florida, he will really bury Romney. But that is what the GOP gets for nominating Obama-lite.

Gee. Corbett, you love to throw around the "Obama-lite", don't you. Romney is nothing of the sort. He's a smart person who has surrounded himself with smart people and will probably have the likes of you eating crow in November.

The University of Colorado metric has NEVER been wrong on the winner and it has Romney big: 320-218. Remember, the Dems have not won a single meaningful election since 2008 (ref. Scott Brown, Scott Walker x 2, Chris Christie, Bob McDonnell, the NC marriage amendment (61-39), the entire 2010 midterm shellacking, etc, etc.) Just like Wisconsin during the 'recall,' which the polls had a statistical tie on election day, there will be major shock and awe on the Left the morning of Nov 7th. I don't think anyone truly appreciates just how much hatred the country has for Obama and his policies, and for just how hard he will fall on Nov 6th.

As readers know, this syndicated column is based out of the Republican-rich "First Coast" of Florida and Jacksonville's Florida Times-Union. Since 2000, I have been polling and analyzing Florida races for broadcast names such as Fox News' Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, as well as CNN and a host of others. We polled Florida for Politico in 2008 and correctly showed Barack Obama winning by 1 percentage point.

As of now, were I to speak to Mitt Romney (which for most mortals is an impossible feat), I would advise him that touring the state is not enough to beat...
