The New York Times 'Covers' The IRS Story

I would suggest you go back in the Ann Coulter archives. She wrote in the 90's during the Clinton Administration that the IRS targeted conservative groups for audit. She noted that the numbers were such that it was statistically impossible for these audits to be random.
Never admit the history on McCarthy has been proven wrong. Plus, if McCarthy never showed names, then how were careers destroyed? Wow, gotcha twice!

Nice catch. Well said. Liberals' policies and statements rarely hold up to logic and a close examination.
I feel similarly. I especially feel that way about race issues. Where I had always cared about equality and not cared about skin color, the constant false cries of racism have turned someone who would have been sympathetic to real issues into someone who ignores it. The charge of "racism" has become a club to shut down debate. Most of my friends and I simply laugh at it now. Thank you Sharpton and Jackson.
The Venona Papers revealed McCarthy was correct about almost everyone that was targeted. Ann Coulter has also addressed this in columns and books but the MSM will never cover it because it would render one of their favorite phrases (McCarthyism) useless.
Sory. mcCarthy was proven right but just go ahead and perpetuate the big lie.
