Yes, I can see that Planned Parenthood has really helped women have safe abortions since we legalized abortion. Oh, wait, that's not true, is it? Who knows, since they botched their paperwork. Abortions are simply dangerous--as any surgery has the potential to be--especially if it's done way from a hospital. It's strange to me that anyone would argue for a woman to have control over her own body while enabling her to loose control of her own body to her desires that get her in this situation to begin with. Or that you would bring up the fact that it was "common" back in the day and that it was dangerous, while overlooking that huge increase and the dangers today. It's double-talk, plain and simple.

Parenting is tougher than it used to be. And if California is any indication, parents may soon have to fight for the right to exercise any influence--not to mention authority--over their children's sexual behaviors.

Last week news spread of a unique partnership between Planned Parenthood and the Los Angeles Unified School District--Planned Parenthood now runs a "health" clinic on the school grounds of Roosevelt High School, serving mostly teens from low-income, Latino families.
