B.O. was in GA yesterday trying to sell his new education plan to us RED STATE Georgians. He said in his State of the Union Address that he wants to (my paraphrasing) model the US education plan like GA’s. Check out the stats below and tell me how excited you are about the rest of American students getting this opportunity achieve this low goal in education. I suppose if you think there are 52 state, like B.O. thinks, the #s look a bit better. There are reasons we took on the added expense to send our kids to private school. Georgia ranks 45th based on SAT scores (source: http://gaeducation.blogspot.com/2008/08/2008-sat-results-released-georgia-ranks.html) Georgia ranks 41st based on Morgan Quinto Smartest State (2006-2007) (source:

Georgia? Isn't that where teachers held "cheating parties" to correct their students tests to make themselves look good?

There are some "proposals" you just don't want to hear about on Valentine's Day.  President Obama's are among them.

That's because the National Taxpayer's Union has come out with a line by line analysis of the President's SOTU proposals and found their total cost to be a whopping $83.4 billion increase in federal spending.

Don't worry, though -- President Obama doesn't plan for any of them to increase the deficit "by a single dime" . . . because he just wants to raise more taxes.
