The article refers to the word "art". I think the left is in love with the arts because it makes them feel intelligent. It is also an area where relativism fully applies without substantial rebuttal. No one can say what is or isn't art and all will agree. The popular phase: Art, who defines it? No facts or rules apply, thus the left is right at home.
