Yep. That much is clear by the fantastically low gas prices we've been enjoying all this time.
The full faith and credit clause is not absolute, nor was it ever meant to be. SCOTUS has found exceptions to it in several cases in matters of public policy.
Just like we unincarcerate the convicted for the years he was in jail and also unprison rape him if he is innocent? In fact, why don't we just abolish the criminal justice system alltogether? It has no place in a world as perfect, safe, and flawless as this one.

"Better to put them on the streets where armed citizens can shoot them as they continue their life of crime." And in the anarchy that follows, how many innocents will get killed in the crossfire? Not that liberals care, since the only use they have for innocent lives is to manipulate people into preserving murderers. It is a self righteous manipulative ploy.
"Nobody has the right not to be offended. It's the same response I have for people when they try to enforce political correctness."

No, it is the response you have for anyone who thinks that the first amendment right to free speech applies to them when their view conflicts with your own. Implying that people think they have the right not to be offended whenever their opinions offends you is a strawman you use in an attempt to supress dissent, no matter how much you try to disguise it.

"I'd be surprised to see any documented case of someone being fired or sued for "holding .. values"

You have, and you were. I recall giving you some examples in our last exchange. But I see that you conveniently forgot them. Like...
"You don't have a right not to be offended"

Meaning what, exactly? That we are not allowed to speak out against the things we do find offensive? Way to supress dissent, Semp!

The government enforced redefinition of marriage officially recognizes traditional family values as a civil rights violation and ostrasizes those who believe in such values as bigots.

"it doesn't violate your own liberty or property. Same-sex marriage does neither."

People have been fired and sued for holding these values under the shadow of SSM legislation, so SSM does indeed violate our liberty and property.

The Prop 8 Case Charade

Is that the same thing as saying that anybody can marry anyone anything anyway anyhow? Loving vs. Virginia decided that marriage was about gender integration, not racial segregation. The court wrote: "Marriage is one of the "basic civil rights of man," fundamental to our very existence and survival...." How is two women or two men shacking up with each other fundamental to our very existence and survival?
"Why do polls that precede elections always favor gay marriage but election results do not? Because voters of the religious right lie to the pollsters. They seem to understand that their prejudices are sinful and they won't own up to their them in person. But on their secret ballots they vote their prejudices." No, it is because they are afraid. They know they live in a state in which traditional family values are regarded by the government as raw bigotry and those who believe in them are hated on and harrassed. A lot of people don't want to deal with that. It is the same thing that motivates many homosexuals to stay in the closet, not because they are ashamed and don't want to own up to something that is "sinful" but because they...
"Here’s the difference: men and women want different facilities, such as bathrooms. Men want to use a men’s room, and women want to use a woman’s room."

And that distinction between racism and gender differences is the point I've been trying to make all along. Those differences are the reason why men and women want different bathrooms and blacks and whites don't.

"You’re just trying to find something that applies to opposite-sex couples and not to same-sex couples, and elevating it to some false sense of importance."

And how is human civilization supposed to propogate and survive without procreation, which is only accomplished by putting men and women together? Seems pretty darn important to me!

"In any...
"Thanks for proving my point: all those things are the same. It’s still called “basketball” whether the team is all male or all female. It’s still called “clothing,” regardless of whether it’s a man or a woman wearing it. It’s still called a “dressing room,” regardless of whether it’s a man or a woman using it. It’s still a rest room, regardless of who’s using it."

By that reasoning, that means that there is nothing wrong with "white" and "colored" restrooms since it is still a restroom regardless of whether a white guy or a black guy is using it. It is still called a rest room. And it is still called basketball whether the team is all white and all black. So my point still stands, there is a difference between racism and...
