Not sure why Republicans continue to push an ineligible candidate. Article II Section 1 Clause 5 specifies that only a natural born citizen can be POTUS. Since a VP's main job is a President-in-waiting, it should be considered there, too. These has been much confusion over what a natural born citizen really is. A natural born citizen is different from a native born citizen, which is in turn different from a naturalized citizen. A natural born citizen is born in the USA of two citizen parents, one who also has not foresworn allegiance. Rubio is a native born citizen. His father was not a US citizen when Marco was born.
