Jesus said, "The poor you will always have with you." I say, the bullies we will always have with us. It is our responsibility to learn how to deal with bullies and to teach our kids how to deal with bullies. Speaking as one who was bullied as a child, I can tell you the best way to deal with it. Going into my freshman year in high school, I was the wimpy little 5'6" kid bullies picked on. By my sophomore year, I had grown to 6'4" and had begun to fill out - and I remembered who those bullies were and I knew where their lockers were. Wanna deal effectively with a bully? Get big, get strong, and get tough. That bully Dan Savage had better never find himself in my kids' high school.

In my book, “Don’t Let the Kids Drink the Kool-Aid,” I posited that radicals within the gay lobby are using the important issue of bullying to indoctrinate America’s children with leftist dogma about homosexuality.

They have chosen an issue with which no one could possibly disagree — that bullying is a horrible, hurtful epidemic among young people — to implicate religion (specifically, fundamentalist Christianity) as a root cause of homophobic, aggressive behavior.
