A similar analogy to guns and violence would be that of the automobile. We all KNOW cars kill quite a few people in America, yet no one is clamoring for making them illegal. They DO however, expect you to be responsible, get training, and know how to "use" your car properly. And they most certainly prosecute the PERSON when used improperly (i.e. speeding, reckless, drunk, drugged, stupid). So, why is it so hard for liberals to make the PERSON responsible for the car violence, but the GUN responsible for gun violenct? I'm just waiting for some smart laywer to defend their client by making the CAR the cause of the car violence.

On a December day last year, a disturbed 20-year-old murdered his mother. He then drove to an elementary school where he killed 20 young children and six adults, reportedly using several firearms.

Something has to be done to stop this sort of massacre from happening again. If that is possible.

Or, according to some, something has to be done whether such prevention is possible or not.
