I think that was his point. Still accurate though. Would be nice to be a military vet too! Nothing gives you at true understanding and cost of our freedom as a couple tours in combat zone! Most of the sissies we have sitting in Washington would wet themselves even being around gun fire, much less getting shot at, with stupid a$$ rules of engagement set by someone sitting at home warm and safe!

My guess is that the answer is a clear "no." As Ronald Brownstein points out, he has no second term agenda.  

I don't think that he's exactly "bored" in the job (or looking to be "kicked upstairs," as I've put it before).  Rather, it's that the job is harder than he thought it would be...
