Good points all..... we all know it...... the liberals know it, yet still laugh in our faces. So what changes? When over 1/2 the nation is either already in the tank for this junk or just dosn't give a hoot, how is anythiing going to change for the better? God is letting Satan run rampant through America and it's our own fault. WE brought all this on through "tolerance". See where it got us?

Big societal problems can't be solved with these juvenile lists that Hawkins keeps posting. The "laughter" comes from the ridiculous notion that there are simple little Conservative fixes to big complex problems.

In between the time you cut off funds to the poor and the time they become self-sufficient, they could die of starvation and disease. Telling someone with at best an 8th grade education that they need to go out and support their family without some kind of transition or safety net just isn't going to work and the laughter comes from the fact that so many of you don't realize that.

The transition currently being employed is moving us in the opposite direction.

But how will they ever become self-sufficient if the government keeps giving them handouts? Where is the motivation to work? Don't you ever think before you post this drivel?

No, big societal problems cannot be solved by lists, but then no one suggests that the lists are designed to solve the problems and, unlike liberal "solutions" they don't universally make things worse.

And if liberals with poor education can't get a job that's hardly surprising (note that the educational group that went most overwhelmingly for Obama: high school dropouts; those with degrees went for Romney).

Liberalism offers up a utopian vision of the world and then invites its practitioners to feel good about themselves for embracing it. Not only does this beautiful fantasy world never come to pass, liberalism fails to address the root causes of the problems it sets out to solve while creating whole new disasters in the process. In other words, it's a never ending circle. There's a problem, liberalism is offered up as the solution, it doesn't work and creates more problems, for which liberalism is offered up as the solution, etc., etc., etc. until you're starving, bankrupt, or your society...
