You're right, but with our two-party system, you're either part of a party, or you're virtually out of the game altogether (although Germany's bajillion-party system from the Twenties shows us that a two-party system is actually probably preferable). Having a conservative/Tea Party revolution in the Republican party is what has to happen for us to take our country back. We need the resources of the Republican Party to ultimately push a workable conservative agenda.
