I don't think I would be as outraged with the deaths of our four Americans had the State Dept allowed those Special Forces groups to scramble. At least it would've felt like we tried. Nothing much worse than knowing that no one even lifted a finger to try to protect those at the embassy.

The State Department is not allowed to issue deployment-orders to the military. Only the President can do that.

You met Greg Hicks earlier.  He's the career State Department official whose "jaw hit the floor" when Susan Rice went the 'Full Ginsburg' to spread bogus talking points in the immediate wake of the 9/11 Benghazi attacks.  If you thought exposing and debunking the administration's initial dishonest spin was the biggest bombshell Hicks was preparing to drop on Wednesday, you'd be wrong.  CBS News
