that's because Mitch McConnell made a point of listening to Obama, looking at Obama's meager voting record in the IL and US Senate, and did his research on Obama's background and overall behavior. It didn't take much to figure out that what Obama wanted was not going to be very good for the country...heck, nearly half the country knew that as well.
