Considering the far-left ignores how these countries typically treat women (all while screaming about the GOP's war on women here), I'm sure they'll continue to ignore how these countries treat the LBGT community (all while screaming about violation of LBGT civil rights when states block marriages). Women and gays are treated as less than dirt, but somehow their indignation fails to go past our borders.
heh heh...your letter reminds of me of the letters from the zombies in that game "Plants Vs. Zombies". ;)
I happened to tune into SNL the night this aired since I saw Tina was going to be on, and it was, hands-down, one of the funniest skits they've done in a loooong while. Nice to see that Tina, and the rest of the cast & writers, see the humor in the pathetically vapid show "Girls". Sadly, the rest of the skits weren't quite as funny that evening.
have you seen the pistachio commercials with him? I actually laughed out loud when I saw it.
I'm lucky enough to still have employer-provided health insurance, but the day after this bill was signed, back in 2009, I had an email in my work inbox from the lawyers and HR folks who told us straight up that because our employer provides a "cadillac" plan, that the company would be taxed by the gov't, which in turn, would be partially passed onto us as a premium increase (well, us mgmt...union folks still get their insurance scott-free). How sad is it that my employer (and others across the country) is being PENALIZED for providing excellent health insurance at reasonable rates for the employees??? My rates that fall during 2010 open enrollment went up 33% to help cover adults up to age 26 and those with pre-existing conditions (despite the fact that my insurance allowed students up to age 22 be covered and that it covered everyone w/pre-existing conditions). My rates went up again during 2011 open enrollment...about another 30%, though at that point I felt I got something in return for my increase: no co-pay for wellness visits...nice to have when you've got little ones that go in frequently for shots and well-baby visits. My rates stayed the same (thankfully) during 2012 open enrollment, and crept up only a tiny bit during 2013 open enrollment (on parr with the usual increases in health costs). But we were notified a month ago that once 2014 open enrollment begins in a few weeks, to expect an increase of 25% or more due to additional taxes being levied by the gov't, and new per-person-per-month fees being assessed by the gov't to help fund the ACA, all of which will continue to go up yearly. I'm grateful that my employer is still able to cover about 75-80% of the costs of our insurance, and I'm sure it's in part because the company is so large, but I'm concerned at some point my employer will finally have no choice but to take the penalty fees in exchange for dumping insurance for all mgmt employees (and possibly the unionized workforce as well).
I live in the DC area and don't even recall hearing about this on the news! Is that final confirmation that even the MSM is bought and paid-for by this administration?

"likely guided more by presidential aspirations than principles" I thought he was born in Canada? If so, he's not even eligible and shame on CNN for not knowing the difference. Beyond that, I #StandWithCruz in his effort to #MakeDCListen
It sucks when the popular kids turn on you when they no longer need your muscle! The unions aren't used to being screwed and thrown under the bus. Don't worry, this administration had made sure you'll have plenty of other friends under that bus.
