You're wrong. The true cause was a d**chebag who should have been drowned at birth. What you're suggesting is a slippery slope which leads to a tyranny of "it's for your own good."

Cole, Jesus was not a d**bag who should have been drowned at birth. He was a guy who was born before Mark Twain, Twain said "If you're going to tell the truth, make them laugh. Otherwise they'll lynch you." Jesus was a good storyteller, but he wasn't funny, so they nailed him. Andrew Davis is not funny either, and since the bleeding hearts don't allow crucifying people anymore, perhaps he will be killed by a drunk driver, or by a drunken Rightist's stray bullet. That would be kind of funny. Unlike this column.

America, we are in a time of crisis. And, meaningful action must be taken before another life is lost. That time for action is now.

According to the World Health Organization, alcohol is responsible for nearly 4 percent of all deaths worldwide. In the United States alone, more than 24,500 people died in 2009 as a result of alcohol, excluding accidents and homicides. In 2010, 31 percent of all traffic-related deaths in the U.S. were the result of alcohol, taking 10,228 lives.

Fellow Americans, something must be done. Too many lives have been lost because of alcohol. Innocent lives snuffed...
