. . . a fact that has slowly, painfully become evident to me over the last couple of decades. I recently found some articles written in the early 1900s by opponents of the suffrage movement, and their much-maligned predictions have all come true.

"women are not interested or involved enough in politics to take note of the overall results of their votes. Their world is small and personal, good intentions and pretty words assume exaggerated importance,"

I, too, am a native of Colorado and I have to agree with what Pistol wrote above. Not just in Colorado, but in every other state, including Utah, where I live now.
i have run into female friends when we go to Colorado, and here in Utah who blindly support Obama "because he's giving us "free" health care" or other "free" things, and refuse to look at ANY details of how much all this "free" stuff is actually going to cost them.
Of course they also refuse to look at anything that shows Obama as the corrupt lying America hater he is. Solid proof that they make decisions with their "feelings" instead of their common sense.

I'm sure glad I raised my daughter to "think" instead of "feel."
