She's fictional, just like the shut-down "crisis." I actually just got tired of all of the spam and thought I'd just join them.
He probably would have gotten me, too, but I'd had that magical second cup of coffee before I read his comment.

Ditto. There are few things more depressing than reading the writing of first-year college students.
From the O-care website: If you're pregnant, you may be turned down for coverage. Contraception is covered 100%. Flush your baby and we've got your back. Want to have a baby? You're on your own. https://www dot healthcare dot gov/young-adults/
Can a reporter look up Bart Stupak and ask him for his opinion on this? He was the last Democrat "holdout" on the ACA, who caved when Obama promised him that this wouldn't happen. Bart is enjoying a full federal pension now, while the rest of us deal with the monster he helped create.
It would warm my heart to see the press cover this with the same gusto that they did with the koran-burning preacher story.
"Illegal guns drive violence." Consider legal guns the seat belts, then. Cars used to kill a lot more people than they do now, and we didn't have to ban them to reduce deaths and injuries.

Did you read the column, Matt? It's only marginally related to guns. Should she have supported Barack?

Ditto my response to Ed, above. Even "Christian" marriage counselors tend to lean liberal. I think it's part of the "no blame" approach to conflict resolution.

Sorry you had to go through that, Ed. You're right about that profession, though. I have never met anyone in mental health/counseling/etc. who had a remotely conservative view of life.
