Bernard Lewis's take on the Islamists' view of "democracy" : One man, one vote, one time. Once elected "democratically", the Islamists rigidly impose their own agendas, and good luck living a long life to those who oppose them. Obama et.al. are either clueless, or know what's up and don't care as long as it weakens US power. Obama "leads from behind" by pulling on the reins of US power and prestige.

Narcissistic MEN? It seems to me that narcissism is an equal-opportunity affliction. Anybody ever watch any of those awful reality shows featuring self-absorbed brides obsessing over their weddings, and wonder what kind of masochist would actually marry one of them?

It's interesting to hear all the whining that Walker won because the Republicans "outspent" the Democrats. What they're not saying is that one of the reasons for this was the significant amount of monetary support, a lot of it in the $25 range, from people all over the country who've had it up to here with the unions, their preposterous demands and their outrageous tactics. It's good to know that despite the best efforts and the deep pockets of the collectivists, there are enough individualists willing to put their money where their mouths are to keep the Founding Fathers' notions of freedom in the game.
