We spend a little time, on a pretty regular basis, slamming Matthews, Maddow, Sharpton, Gibson, Couric, Behar, Mahr, etc. I think the thing to keep in mind is that, no matter how vitriolic and malignant their opinions are, each of them shares one trait. They are providing their Opinion. They are not - not one of them - "journalists" they are Opinion personalities. Maybe they provide SOME facts, but their main purpose is to provide opinions which will draw in the core audience of their network. Turn on Fox news and listen to ANY program with Hannity, Bolling, Napolitano, Doocy, Kilmeade or Carlson and tell

Sunstein advocates that the Government's stealth infiltration should be accomplished by sending covert agents into "chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups."

He also proposes that the Government make secret payments to so-called "independent" credible voices to bolster the Government's messaging (on the ground that those who don't believe government sources will be more inclined to listen to those who appear independent while secretly acting on behalf of the Government).

Have you applied YET?

C'mon, C'mon Man.....really?
You're going to go there with me? I have seen your posts on this site for some time now and have usually appreciate / agreed with them. I am assuming you have seen some of mine...but maybe not.

My point was simply to ask, why do we keep talking about this guy because we know what he is. yet we continue to get our frilly underthings in a bunch when he does what he does. It's phuckin pointless. And a distraction from actually phuckin DOING something.

And your "point" is phuckin insulting.

You pointed out Matthews has an opinion, when in reality he is nothing more, nothing less than a PARROT a Squawking parrot at the all of MSNBC Opinionator Are squawking the WH talking points daily......we should call them out on IT!

Let's play the "what if a Republican had said this" game. Last night MSNBC's Chris Matthews responded to Senator Marco Rubio's State of the Union rebuttal as "primitive," "tinkertoy," "juvenile," and something that reminded him of a high school debate team.

I won't hold my breathe waiting for Al Sharpton or Colin Powell to accuse Matthews of using "code words."
