Costas has to be right. It's the GUN'S fault. Obviously the three dead in Wyo. would be alive and well today if they had only taken the KNIFE and BOW and ARROWS off the street or the two children who were thrown off the BRIDGE in Fla. could be alive today if they had only not built that evil BRIDGE. The six middle school kids wouldn't be in trouble today if they just hadn't been on that SCHOOL BUS where they beat the driver. I recall the husband who bludgeoned his wife with that lethal CLAW HAMMER....OF IF THEY HAD ONLY TAKEN AWAY HIS TOOLS. Or is it just possible that the evil was in the hearts of those who use these tools?

Not really, but you'd think this nationally-televised sermon on gun control might at least land the guy an offer of a weekend show, or something.  In the wake of the horrific murder-suicide that rocked the NFL over the weekend, Costas devoted a halftime monologue during NBC's Sunday Night Football broadcast to repeating the anti-gun inanities of a Kansas City-based sportswriter:

MSNBC joking aside, this was not one of the famed sportscaster's finer moments.  Costas can't hide behind the "I was merely quoting someone else's opinion"...
