Doug its called "hitting bottom" and has worked forever with addicts. It either brings them to their senses or kills them or both. I find it ironic that republicans in congress seem to favor "democrat light" and then see the public go and say "what the hell I will vote for the real thing". Conservatism is hard and is temporarily painful while liberalism is easy and is long term painful although at first it seems so pleasant. Its like giving a guy as much loose women, booze and drugs to get high and go into ecstacy for quite a while and then....boredom,addiction to the alcohol and drugs kick in and then its a horror and he wants out. Think of any one with an addiction and lack of personal responsibility as it inevitably cycles DOWN. Liberals

..believe there is NO bottom. Its all a free ride and the rich or government is going to bankroll all this. You can throw numbers at em and their eyes glaze over. You can use logic and reason and be prepared for the ad hominen attcks (which are forthcoming on this post...as it will be "you lost get over it...blah, blah blah..") So I agree with you and your friend give em everything they want and let it roll. Of course be prepared becuase when it fails and it has and will continue to they will still blame us.... and maybe just maybe the still non brain dead American public will outnumber the drones. Its possible but I am not willing to bet on it...hell I will have nothing left to bet on it.

I agree. I think marijuana use is wrong and dangerous. Worse than cigarettes in the effects of the smoke, a gateway drug and one that loses its effectiveness unless the concentration is upped, in time. And today's cannabis clones are strong enough that a single smoke will dull your response time, but am quite willing to settle back and watch States legalize casual pot use.
Let things fall out as they may. Children do learn from pain, and adults do, if they cannot act like adults. Do feel sorry for the innocent bystanders, but the States were designed to be laboratories, so bring on the guinea pigs.

I think part of the grab for control, on the part of the Feds, is that they do not want States doing experimentation, else the lies Obama pursues will be demonstrated as the wrong way to go. We have Gov. Walker and we have the Gov. of California, unknown to me, and which is prospering? Which does Obama wish to stiffle?
I wish I had a President that wanted us to prosper.

Calif. governor Skeletor Jerry Brown--marxist moron here in the peoples republic. I will have my family be ready in defense of our home and at all times be prepeared for what is going to be difficult road ahead.

A cigar aficionado and amigo of mine named Irwin penned a note to the Republican Congress the night after Obama got elected for four more years of this slop, and I thought I’d pass it on to you. Check it out ...

Dear Republican Congress,

As a conservative Republican I am begging you to give president Obama and those who voted for him everything they want.

They want higher taxes on the rich and companies. Give it to them.

They want higher capital gains taxes that will hurt their investments. Give it to them.

They want a system that...
