Reports: Romney Picks Paul Ryan, Announcement Saturday Morning in Virginia

I am concerned about this pick. Paul Ryan is doing a great job in the House. If Romney wins, how much real input will Ryan have on policy as VP. If Romney loses, Ryan will no longer be in the House where he is most effective against the Administration. I think it would have been better for the country and the future if Ryan would stay in the House.

climber: Not to worry, the VP does still wield a vote in Congress & Ryan has a lot of good
company there & more will be coming to join him & the other Conservatives when we rid
Congress of the Rino/Marxist Dem infestation!!

I am wondering if there is a bright new star in Ryan's district to fill his spot. I hope a lot of research was done on the pick when it comes to filling the void left.

I thought about that too. But the best shot is needed at securing this presidency from the present Marxist in chief, or we'll be living in a third world country in another 4 years.

Update Saturday 6:17 am ET: The Romney campaign has officially announced through a press release that Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin will be Mitt Romney's vice presidential running mate.

Sonic Boom (via NBC News):
