Guy, what exactly is a moderate on the immigration issue? Someone who lets pretty much all illegal immigrants stay in the U.S. but makes sure you have the border secure? If some want all illegal immigrants to stay and some want all illegal immigrants deported, wouldn't a moderate position be for several million to be deported? Somehow I don't think that applies to you.

What We Women Want

Here's something women don't want and that's to have their child killed by an illegal immigrant drunk driver or to be raped by an illegal immigrant. You have done and continue to do your part in shielding illegal immigrants from the rule of law - so cheap labor employers with sob stories about hiring difficulties can be satisfied. To hell with women's economic and physical safety

I'm not as confident about the lack of health concerns as Ms. Chavez is. I'm also not as confident that there aren't 17 year old children gangbangers coming over. It only takes one to kill Americans. Also, she doesn't seem to understand that while 50,000 so called children are being dealt with, 150,000 adults are streaming over the border.

To clarify something David Limbaugh wrote, the beginning of the end of slavery was a result of the civil war but the war didn't start in order to "eradicate the inhuman practice." In fact, as the Southern states seceded from the Union, Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, which applied only to slaves in the South. It did not abolish the institution of slavery in the North where slavery remained legal. Slavery really wasn't a North vs. South thing. For instance, in 1760, about 10 percent of the population of Philadelphia were slaves; the first slaves were brought into New England and the Northeast — not the Southern states; at one point, New Orleans had 10,689 free blacks and nearly a third of them “owned, bought, rented and sold black slaves;” also, in South Carolina, 402 black slave owners had 2,357 slaves.

Those Americans being adversely affected by the influx of illegal immigrants are humans as well - not to mention citizens.
I truly am not sure of the answer to this question but it concerns me - If the House passes some form of immigration bill this session, won't it keep the Senate version alive and then need to go to conference to compromise - which would lead to amnesty?
And what say you Dr. Carson about the children born in the US from your guest workers, that you are allowing to come back in the country despite the fact that they came here illegally - possibly bringing drugs into the country as a payment to the coyotes who got them here - and have used citizen taxpayer money for education, health care, language accommodation and a laundry list of other benefits?
Sorry, should be "whose" rather than "who's" but what does the English language matter in your new envisioned USA anyway?
Mr. Kudlow, please cool it on immigration. We are a country with an economy, not the opposite. We will not be the same country envisioned and lived if we listen to you on immigration. The long-term health of the unique American culture is more important than some short-term economic success - and for whom, not the average American who's wages and job prospects drop with massive immigration - legal and otherwise.
