Burglarizing Our Borders

“comprehensive immigration reform.” This is one horse that should have been put into jars labeled "pate" years ago. Another decietful ruse by the new world order to destroy what's left of being "American".

Only one thing you didn't mention John. I would want anyone driving in these programs to have at least liability insurance with medical for passengers. Sure it's "big brother", but a necessary evil IMO.

You would think that any woman (or man for that matter) born after the dark ages would realize that "woman's healthcare" has little to do with govt.-paid-for BCPs and abortions.
Let's see Derek, our entire manufacturing base is essentially in the toilet and you're worried about 'copyright' laws? News flash here, were not going to be making the stuff anyway! While 20-somethings like you worry about your precious smartphones that you can't keep your noses out of even if you life depended on it, some of us seniors remember a time when this country actually MADE things! "Free Trade" means the USA has freely traded it's manufacturing capability for (slightly) cheaper Chinese glop! maybe you should take a year off of your "Yale Law Fellow" career and try a job in a factory! Oh! Silly me, there are no more factories left.

Reality TV Shows Aren’t All a Bad Thing

Survivor began as sort of semi-reality. The first few seasons were pretty good. But then the powers that be decided to make every location a tropical beach and only bring on scantily-clad 20-somethings. Gone were the senior citizens who, despite being "wrinkly" added there insight and wisdom. Now it's pretty much all a cat-fight like "Big Brother" without the central A/C.

Your last paragraph is spot-on. Even on that "repo" show, the folks whose cars are getting towed are all actors. What I do like though are the shows that really portray intresting historical topics like "American Pickers".

Valarie Jarrett?
Maybe they are not classified as such, but there are quite a few positive shows out there that are not scripted. I love "American Pickers" and "American Restoration". And shows like "Restraunt Impossible", "Mystery Diners" "Restraunt Stakeout" to me show just how bad businesses can be run and how many people think they are entitled to a paycheck for breathing. And the folks hosting those shows represent some of the best that America has to offer IMHO.
I spent 2 weeks in Marrakesh, Morocco 10 years ago. It was an eye-opener to see how destitute those people lived. And thier Arab-Muslim oil rich "brothers" don't do squat to help them. But of course, they still blame us infidels.
