You hit the nail on the head, Rod. He "got a taste of the gravy train" and wants back in. The guy's a political opportunist. I'd prefer a hard core Liberal than a faux conservative.
I hate to say this but I'm afraid that is exactly what it is going to take to wake the vast majority of people in this country. But even then it is going to be too late. We have allowed too many wrong things to grow in this country and the problems are now systemic.
Don't you believe him; don't you believe him for one minute. This is just another political animal looking to get into office more than looking to make a difference. He's really adept at focusing on the one political hot item that will get him name recognition and elected into office, like his supposed opposition to Obamacare catapulted him into office the first time, but once in office, he legislates like Olympia Snowe and one cannot discern the difference between Brown and Shaheen.

Another example of why I will always read Suzanne Field. Why are there not more writers like her anymore?

When all is said and done, and that great big DVD player n the sky I played back, the mainstream media s going to b shown complicit in so many of the nation's ills. And they will be held accountable for corrupting the science of truth telling.

" Stirring up racial hatred is how journalists make up for sending their own kids to lily-white private schools. " My word! There is so much truth in that statement that it is mind boggling.

You have to ask?
Sorry, guys, but I know too many Christians who like to go on "missions trips" to foreign countries, but just try to get them to go downtown with you to witness to disenfranchised American kids, and, all of a sudden, they're too busy. Ann's right in what she's saying here.
Listen, don't make the partisan mistake of not allowing anyone to criticize those whom you agree with. The modern Western church is rife with nonsensical thinking. She is exactly right about the idea that so many Christians in America go on "mission trips" to countries South of the border but won't say one word about Jesus to their neighbors. I, quite frankly, find it refreshing to hear someone speak the Truth about this situation. She is exactly right.
