With all due respect, and as a fellow teacher with all the impressive certificates and degrees, a degree a teacher does not make. And, having a master's degree in curriculum and instruction doesn't hold water for me. Most of my instructors in college had specialty degrees in education such as yours. None of what they taught has any practical use in the classroom. Curriculum and instruction is merely a rung in the ladder of marxist-based education. Sorry...I mean no disrespect, but what you claim as proof of your expertise is no more than what is common and usual in the public school arena.

For decades, collectivist agitators in our schools have chipped away at academic excellence in the name of fairness, diversity and social justice. "Progressive" reformers denounced Western civilization requirements, the Founding Fathers and the Great Books as racist. They attacked traditional grammar classes as irrelevant in modern life. They deemed ability grouping of students (tracking) bad for self-esteem. They replaced time-tested rote techniques and standard algorithms with fuzzy math, inventive spelling and multicultural claptrap.
