Ms. Barkoukis, Understandably, it must be difficult to do exhaustive research on your chosen subject matter. Here are two more incidents of mall shootings which might have resulted in more deaths if not for an armed citizen: Trolley Mall, Salt Lake City, 2/12/2007: The gunman's rampage (killed several, wounded several) was stopped after trading shots with off-duty police officer Kenneth Hammond of the Ogden City Police Department, essentially a private citizen with a gun – Hammond engaged the shooter and cornered him until uniformed officers arrived, and thus his actions most probably saved lives.

Clackamas Mall, Oregon, Dec. 2012.
An armed civilian took cover behind a pillar, a few feet from the shooter, Jacob Tyler Roberts.
Roberts made eye contact with the civilian, saw that he was armed, and althoughhis AR-15 became jammed, he pulled out his handgun and shot himself--------leading many to believe that Roberts knew that he was going to be a target of the armed civilian.

That armed civilian at the Clackamas Mall was 22-year-old Nick Meli, who was at the mall shopping with a young woman who was babysitting her friend’s baby.

On Friday, KGW News Channel 8, the only media outlet to cover this part of the story, posted the following report on their website:

Ms. Barkoukis,
I have more examples of would-be "mass-killers" who were stopped by armed citizens.
Please advise if you want them. It would make for great ammunition against the lying tripe of those such as, Mr. Schultz

Yeah, he really said this:

Where did he get this idea? Jack Coleman over at NewsBusters thinks the claim originated from a Mother Jones article written in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting, but Schultz doesn’t source the statement. The Mother Jones report states: “In the wake of the slaughters this summer at a Colorado movie theater and a Sikh temple in Wisconsin, we set out to track mass shootings in the United States over the last 30 years. We identified and analyzed...
