Not surprising from Ed, but what a stupid remark, and apparently based on a stupid bit of "research". I suspect that they became mass killings while waiting for the "proper" authority to show up WITH GUNS. Somehow, nobody having a gun allowed the killers to shoot people with abandon, people who found out that hiding behind a desk chair or in a closet didn't really do much. So my "research" says that virtually all mass killings were eventually stopped by people WITH GUNS. How shocking is that?
