I was listening to the news on January 2, and the newscaster was saying, in a smug approving voice, that the Senate "is more diverse than ever, with whites as a minority". If that is so, then the passage of just laws will be a memory. The Congressional Black Caucus is far to the left of most of their colleagues, has made many racist declarations,and I imagine that if blacks are now a Senate majority, they will gleefully join hands with Obama to "stick it to Whitey". It will be a rough time for America, as we will be being governed by COLORED racists,who see all WHITES as worthy of persecution.

The fact that the intruder actually seemed to have gone searching for the family,in my view, fully justified shooting him. What possible benign reason could an intruder have for doing that? Was he going to ask permission to pillage the house, or to offer to give them a percentage of the take? HA! He was up to no good, that's certain, and in my view, he somewhat less than what he had coming. Maybe he won't repeat THIS crime in just a few months. I protected myself and my baby from would be intruders by flourishing a shotgun and chambering a round,years ago. They drove off at about 100 per.

I agree with all that, especially the hand dryers. I HATE having to stand there for almost a minute at a hand dryer, and these days, I am old enough that the skin on the backs of my hands blows into folds in a disconcerting way. Darn it, give me paper towels, or don't squawk as I walk out,drying my hands on my shirt tail! And don't talk about trenches in the bathroom, the government has ENOUGH stupid ideas without giving them more, for FREE!

Not for THEM the never married,chubby, ugly faced welfare mothers of 4,who refuse to work,and cupboards full of junk food,always the slim, young,beautiful young lady with one charming child on her lap, and tears in her eyes,crying about how they will suffer if food stamps are harder to get and she has to WORK. "What would YOU cut??!!" the Leftist interviewer then angrily demands of the conservative,as that video ends.

Yes, the Left believes that people are inherently good, therefore a Heaven on Earth MUST be possible (since most if not all leftists don't believe in God or HIS Heaven),and therefore "whatever is necessary", even the KILLING of people who are in the way of executing the perfect plans ,devised by the "best minds" ,for this Heaven on Earth, must be done,"for the good of all". That is what socialism and Communism have been all about. Hundreds of MILLIONS have been done to death,and all we have is a worse HELL on earth. Things were much better when most of us believed both in God and in the evil in every man, and the Constitution was written with both in mind.

I defended myself and my 1 year old son with a shotgun once. Strangers kept driving slowly past our house at about midnight one summer night in 1976, and we were the last house on a dirt road in a farming area in Missouri. They turned at the dead end and came past several times. My husband was out of town. I became alarmed for the baby,and got the shotgun,loaded it, turned on the front porch light, and when they drove slowly past again, I pumped it,chambering a round,glaring at them. They sped off, and I unloaded the gun and returned to bed. Possibly I saved us both from getting killed or harmed.

Once again, our FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT!!! is WRONG. I was just reading an article today where gangs are robbing gas stations in Chicago ARMED WITH AK47s! Maybe Obamalamadingdong hasn't had the paper read to him lately, or maybe he has told his staff just to cut out those articles that would force reality to come crashing into his personal dreamland. As far as I am concerned, this petition thing on the White House website is more of the same old appearance of action and actuality of inaction that has been a Democrat president trademark since Clinton the Incompetent. It is nothing but a cruel hoax. Obama obviously believes that his heart will explode if he EVER utters a WORD that AGREES with any conservative principles,so there is really not a speck of a chance that anything good or substantial will come of ANY conservative petition to THAT guy.

Mr. Paulson, your column was like a cool hand on a fevered brow to me. God IS in control. We need not worry, or despair, but work as if it all DOES depend on us, yet trust in Him to bless us and our efforts. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
