Rich? A Look at What $250,000 Means

Chuck Martel Wrote: Nov 30, 2012 12:13 PM
The multitudes of "Takers" have voted, and they want their "Revenge" on the "Makers" whose money is confiscated to pay for their welfare and free contraception and free Obama phones. We live in a sick society.
If a tree gets blown down in a random summer thunderstorm and crushes my house, I have to rebuild it on my own - with insurance coverage money, or otherwise. It's my responsibility. No fanfare, no charity fundraisers for me, no help from the government or anyone. That's o.k. though - I don't expect that....it's my responsibility. So why, in a widespread disaster, does the government have to step in and "REBUILD", and pay for everyone's rebuilding costs at the government's expense? Isn't that what insurance is for? And if you don't have it, why should the government (ie taxpayers) bail you out and pay for you to rebuild. I don't have a shore house - so why should I have to pay to rebuild someone else's?

What Real Political Racism Looks Like

Chuck Martel Wrote: Nov 28, 2012 12:31 PM
Political racism also looks like 98% of blacks voting for Obama simply because he's black.
This is one NJ conservative who will not be voting for Christie when he seeks reelection (running against shoe-in, Corey Booker.) The reason is Christie has done NOTHING to help bring down our outrageous property taxes. If he thinks we believe he'll "get to that" in his second term, yeah right. Under Christie, the suburbs have been looted to prop up Newark and other cesspools. Under Booker, the looting will continue. Why bother voting for the "Republican"?
Katie, surely you are too generous in referring to that creature as a "lady". That ain't no lady!
Previously pro-life, since the election I am enthusiastically pro-choice. I now support Planned Parenthood, and I want to see a Planned Parenthood branch on every street corner in every liberal, Obama-voting precinct of America.

Romney Was Not the Problem

Chuck Martel Wrote: Nov 23, 2012 5:06 PM
And let us not forget the other main reason for Romney's loss: RACISM. Racism on the part of blacks and Hispanics, who voted for a flawed candidate based solely on the fact that his skin color matched theirs.
Hamas: "Israel, can we please have a truce? We need to regroup and restock our supply of rockets. It's kind of hard to do that when you're retaliating against us. When we're ready, we'll break the truce and start firing rockets into Israel again. Ok?"
The takers will never vote republican... EVER... anyway, so what difference does it make? Truth is truth, no matter how politically inconvenient. Wasn't that Romney's point? Why is this so hard?
What Romney said was true. Politically inconvenient, but true.
Good article, but ultimately irrelevant. The majority of people in this country are not Christians (even many of the "Christian" ones), and in this secular age, the bible is meaningless. No amount of economic pain and despair will turn this around. The future is bleak.
