Science Reporting No Different Than Activists' Own Hype

Mike Bloomberg: "I want our president to place scientific evidence and risk management above electoral politics.” Well golly gee, Mike, so do I, which is why we need Romney. Evidently he understands something you don't, Mike. Even supposing the warming models are accurate, which is a stretch given they all missed the last 15 years of cooling no going on, the economics of the situation guarantee that the cure is every bit as bad as the disease. The only people who seriously believe human beings can do anything about climate change that is more beneficial than doing nothing are committed leftists and environmentalists, and that's only because they live in a fantasy world of their own making.

Chuck you are the one living in a fantasy world if you think doing nothing will somehow make it OK. The last fifteen years of cooling? Been listening to Fox or reading that rag out of Great Britain have we!
Thank our lucky stars that Obama will have another four years to model an economy based on sound science and emerging green technology. The internal combustion engine has passed its use by date.

"Just as Jim Hansen, the head of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, has recently likened man-made global warming to “a great moral issue” like “slavery,” a group of 49 former NASA scientists issued a letter to NASA Administrator Charles Bolton asking for the administration refrain from including ”unproven and unsupported remarks” about climate science in its communications." The; April 10th, 2012.

Now that's not Fox, fantasy, or any "rag out of Great Britain". Of course, it's clear to me from your reply you're not open to facts, so this will be my one and only offering. The main objection stands: the economics of combatting CAGW just do not work.

If your science is valid, one does not have to falsify data, or intimidate the opposition. Global warming is a sham, hell they don/t even use the term anymore. Now it is climate change. I saw a liberal on TV some time ago and she was asked "when are you going to stop screaming about climate change?" Her response was "when the climate stops changing." How do you argue with a reasoned argument like that?

Obama's next phase of Green Energy is to hand out magic rabbit's foot to everyone so that one day the green energy will become viable without massive handouts from the Federal Government

toad, you don't seem to realize it is actually "greed energy" not green energy. ala Solyndra, 123, Volt, etc ad infiniturm

I have no argument that the climate changes, only with the premise that it's human-caused and that humans can do anything to "correct it".

These fools want the US to cut back on carbon emissions, but China,Japan, and Germany are all changing from clean nuclear power to COAL powerplants, and then there's all of Africa, where burning coal or wood is the primary source of power. that's a net INCREASE in carbon emissions, and we aren't going to change that.

To support "globull" warming, NASA "Scientists" installed temperature sensors in "heat islands" (cities) close to concrete and asphalt parking lots (contrary to manufacturer's recommendations) to obtain their skewed "globull warming" data.
Following Hurricane Sandy’s massive devastation across the northeast, many were quick to tie it to “climate change” (you know, what “global warming” and the “new ice age” used to be.). In a blog post on Tuesday, former Vice President Al Gore wrote “Hurricane Sandy is a disturbing sign of things to come. We must heed this warning and act quickly to solve the climate crisis. Dirty energy makes dirty weather.”

Meghan McCain sarcastically weighed in on Twitter, “So are we still going to go with climate change not being real fellow republicans?”

As his city struggles in the Sandy...
