is the good Dr. didn't let the caller finish her thoughts. She was hanging herself without Dr. Laura's pointing out the hyper-senstitivity of the woman.

Other than that the controversy just illustrates how one sided the conversation about race has to be, otherwise you;re a racist.

There is no defense against the charge of racism. Thankfully, most white people are wising up to the game.
if, in that Time magazine article, there is one word mentioned of the fact that it is a sign of psychological health of a culture to resent the introduction into its realm of an ideology that not only does not share its values and principles, but has as its core principle, the setting up of an infrastructure whose main purpose is to undermng those values and principles in order to gain advantage for itself.

This is doublespeak and we deserve it if we fall for it. They are using the same psyop ploy the homosexuals used so successfully to press their advantage.

This, as James Jacque Revel pointed out in his book, is "How Democracies Perish"
You're taking it for granted that the woman was telling the truth.

I don't know a single white person (and I know a LOT of white people) who has the cojones to use that word around ANY black.

And I'll bet you don't either but you're more than willing to use it online to push conservatives in a corner.
Now we have a Daphne Braindead. Where do these gumballs come from?

Let them build an Islamic AIDS hospital on that site.
Oh, the dreaded comparison to Hitler.

Trumps all other elements of an issue, in the mind of the simplistic.
Now, if they can only get rid of Snowe, Collins, and Brown they'd be on their way to a real Party with Conservative principles.

"If the left gets it here, why not with the mosque?"

Actually, it's a misnomer to say the Left "gets it here".

It's not as if they've thought through this logically. What they do is this: they have first made a philosophical decision and then intepret everything within that philosophical position.

"Getting it" has nothing to do with it with these people.

I heard the interview and thought that the only errors Schlessinger commited was to talk over her caller too much and using the word a few times more than was necessary. The caller was in the process of hanging herself and exposing herself as a hyper-sensitive racist herself and the good Dr. got a little impatient.

She should have let her come out from where she was really at but by using the word as many times as she did, she gave her an excuse and a cover.

Too bad. Could have been a great teaching moment but now the caller's off the hook and Dr. Laura's on it.
start building hospitals and schools that aren't madrassas and institutes of higher learning, then I'll perhaps respect them.

Until then I view them with the suspicion they have created.
