Your statistics are correct. However, owing to the relevance of those simple demographic facts, along with other seemingly unrelated facts, it's highly likely we'll see a bit more than that in our lifetime.

No, and neither have the vast majority of today's American blacks.

I found it interesting that, a few days ago in a casual conversation with two liberal friends when this same subject came up, how quickly it was dropped when I simply made the offhand comment that blacks have done their own share of keeping racism alive.

Even they recognized the truth of that fact.

Maybe its just time to shed white guilt.
