"Folks, we conservatives completely dropped the ball during George W. Bush's first six years of his 'Reign of Error.'"

Zappy, notice that I did not disagree with any of your charges.

I've watched as Republ;icans have successfully enacted provisions increasing the allowable deductions for my privately owned medical insurance to 100% against the opposition of the Dems.

It may not be much but it's along the right lines.

Guys like Chapman and Olympia Snowe won't be happy unless the Republicans come up with a government run health plan of some sort and in that sense, Obama and Co. have alrady won.

"Where were the tea partyers then?"

Threatening to stay home during the coming election.

Got anything similar on the Left?

You didn't just make that t-shirt slogan up, now, did you?
So what's the Democrat alternative, zappy?
Tell me something.

If these statistics bother you so much, why should we NOT be opposed to Bush-on-steroids?

"He won because he is Obama"

No. He won because an ill and mis-informed electorate, unfamiliar with history and political philosophy, aided by a sycophantic media, were cleverly manipulated through appeals to the echo chambers of their own selfish interests.

You, included.

"Obama learned that his strength is not in exclusivity, but in knowledge and understanding of all the cultures that make America."

No, again.

Obama learned that to get ahead in politics, you have to know how to tell people what they want to hear.

"Diversity and multiculturalism ARE the American culture and always have been."

He confuses culture with ethnicity and place of origin and only SOUNDS as if he knows what he's talking about.

My word. Every one of the MLK quotes are keepers.

The man has been underestimated.
