Ain't gonna happen either. What you are going to see is an increase rather than a decrease in Islamic fundamentalism. If you have been following its progress for the last 30 years you would know that.

I've read it. I have no love for Islam, trust me, and see it as being as much of a geo-political threat as you do, perhaps more.

A few questions:

How did it become America's job to keep Muslims from killing each other? How did it become America's job to stabilize Afghanistan?

How many young Americans and how much of a dwindling American treasure are you willing to expend in pursuing that goal? How much is "too much" and how long do you wish to be in that region?
