It is, how many times have you heard about a kid acting out in school and the response is "well, you know his parents just split up so he's gonig through alot." Any action by parents has an effect on the child(ren). And it does include sexual actions, children are sponges, they emulate their parents, which is why we have parents of 2 year olds saying how they have to stop cussing because the kids are picking up on it, there's no reason to think the children wouldnt attempt in every way to emulate everything their parents do, and that should most certainly be taken into consideration with any law that would directly effect the upbringing of a child.
