I really support saving your self for marriage and am a firm believer in second-hand virginity. However, Planned Parenthood and organization I'm proud to be a part of is to be commended for promoting teenagers to have children when they are ready and responible adults. I also know for first hand from my time in many youth groups that many teens say they are "saving themselves" but are lying to their parents faces day in and day out. That's the problem some have with putting certain celebs out there like Ms. Turney does. If Tebow and the Jonases are telling the truth, awesome but remember it wasn't so long ago that the conservative Christian right were bragging about the sexual restraint of Brittany Spears, Justin Timberlink, and Lance Bass.

I'm a complete liberal Republican, but my issue isn't with RINOs (I know what we are and that isn't conservative and that's fine with me) but with so called conservatives who speak about how much they want less government unless it's for their district. Quit worrying about Olympia Snowe because the moment she retires a D will be elected, how about Sen. Shelby from Alabama. Why don't conservatives ever target people like him?

As one of the first bloggers (seriously like in the top 5) who pushed Palin for VP we liked her for what she was then a moderate Republican from Alaska who had a strong history of overthrowing stale Republicans as usual and working with both sides of the political spectrum. I saw her on "Charlie Rose" and she came off very well. It was when she became a "national" figure that she started to unravel and soon saw an oppertunity to become the darling of the conservative right. It's sad, she could have been something special.

Frankly as someone who cried watching Reagan's funeral and have more books dedicated to him than any other including God, I'm getting tired of having him compared to Sarah Palin. She is an idiot. Reagan was brillant. And yes I'm a RINO who by the way would have totally supported Ford over Reagan in 76 if I had been alive but Reagan knew how to deal with the world, his policy with the USSR made America safer than any other policy other than prehaps Roosevelt in WWII. And that's the difference, if you had to pick who would keep me safe, Palin or Reagan. I don't know a conservative alive who would pick Palin.
